The Bible Society of the Republic of Moldova is a public non-profit, non-political organization whose goal is to serve the spiritual needs of the country's population.

The Bible Society is part of the United Bible Societies – an organization of over 200 countries in the world.
Having begun organized work in 1826, the Bible Society as a national organization was established on May 14, 1990 with the participation of Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir, representatives of the Orthodox and other Evanghelical faiths and the United Bible Societies (UBS). Representatives of these faiths are members of the Management Board of the Society. On February 8, 1991, the Society was registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.
The Bible Society operates on the basis of the Charter of the BSM and in accordance with the Constitution and legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
The BSM is a major center for the publication, translation, printing and distribution of the Bible and religious literature of an interfaith nature in the republic. The company has an extensive catalog of publications covering more than 100 titles of books, as well as audio and video materials.
Your word is truth
John 17:17
In the matter of spiritual enlightenment of the population and the publication of scripture books in the languages used in the Republic of Moldova, the BSM cooperates with the national media and Christian and secular organizations, the goals and objectives of which do not contradict the BSM Charter.
Traditionally, the work of the Bible Society involves the implementation of publishing programs (translation, printing and distribution) and fundraising, which ensures the implementation of these programs.
The Bible Society fulfills its task in cooperation and partnership with all Christian churches and church organizations – at the heart of confessional differences – respecting all faiths, striving not to promote and defend one as opposed to others, but without accepting ecumenism. The Bible Society serves churches and their affiliates as a source of help and does not attempt to fulfill their mission.
